Cogent Forest Products supplies woody biomass for renewable energy production, including ground wood fuel and whole tree chips. Our biomass products are sourced from sustainably managed forests in the southeastern United States and meet the strict sustainability criteria required by European biomass energy producers.
Our ground wood fuel is produced from forest residues and low-grade timber that would otherwise go to waste, making it a genuinely sustainable energy source. Whole tree chips are produced from purpose-grown energy crops and forest thinnings.
We supply biomass to co-firing power stations, dedicated biomass plants, and district heating systems across Europe, with full chain-of-custody certification under SFI and PEFC standards.
